The JC-35 GPS adapter cord connects the NIKON D series digital cameras (listed below) to GPS receivers, allowing the current longitude, latitude, altitude, and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to be recorded with each photograph taken.GPS Devices: This information is recorded from the GPS unit to the image's metadata.
The GPS receiver must send data out through a DB9 serial port out and not via USB as the JC-35 has a connection for serial only.
