The battery includes a Dot.Foto InfoChip which sends the remaining battery life back to the camera for display in the LCD, in exactly the same way the original battery operates. Each Dot.Foto battery also has an inbuilt safety system which gives short circuit protection and prevents the battery from overheating. The battery can be re-charged in exactly the same way as an original battery.
